Text description provided by the architects. Santa Fe Building project seeks to accommodate the largest number of one-bedroom apartments as possible, taking advantage of its three façades in order to illuminate and ventilate the interior. Due to the site orientations, the longest façade (20 meters) faces west, which results in a vast amount of solar incidence and heat gain. The pre-existence of a park and a main street on the south front were also decisive for the project organizational design. Considering these conditions, the project maximizes the relationship of the units with the exterior, taking advantage of the park and good orientations and coping with the unfavorable ones over its longest façade.
