Text description provided by the architects. Casa-Semilla is a pioneering prototype of a 3D-printed house, developed through a partnership between the University of Bío-Bío and Aconcagua Real Estate in Concepción, Chile, with the support of various collaborating companies and national research projects. This project is not only the first 3D-printed prototype in Chile but also the first in all of Latin America with seismic-resistant and sustainable features. Its primary goal is to demonstrate the capabilities of 3D printing construction and to promote its application in addressing the growing housing demand.
