The gallery hosted its inaugural exhibition, titled *Bloco-testemunho* (Witness Block), curated by artist Mariana Tassinari with exhibition design by Felipe SS Rodrigues. According to the curator: "When excavating land to build a house, we can touch lost memories of that place. It is beautiful to think that architecture rests on a soil of stories. As they excavate an archaeological site, archaeologists preserve the witness block—an untouched portion of soil that will only be studied when new, more advanced technologies and excavation methods emerge. In their own way, each of the artists in this exhibition speaks of traces of some kind of architecture. Bricks, columns, walls, blocks, cement, stones. Elements of past and future constructions."
