Text description provided by the architects. Casa Palco: architecture as rite, body as dwelling. Building a house is, above all, a ritual. It is a gesture of rooting oneself in the territory, engaging in dialogue not only with the landscape but also with the living matter of the place—the earth, the vegetation, the minerals, the humidity, the winds. Casa Palco was born from this process, transforming over three years of construction along with those who inhabit it. What began as a family home project expanded into a space for experimentation, where architecture and body perform together, in flux with the nature of Paraty.
